Description: Join Missouri School of Journalism Associate Professor for what promises to be a lively Virtual U session on several features Facebook makes available for free to non-profits like ours. She’ll walk us through how to use the Facebook Live video streaming service and offer some tips on when and how to implement live video in your communication strategy. We’ll “tour” Facebook Insights, the metrics Facebook offers on each of its pages. This will help you understand more about your Facebook audience, how strongly your posts resonate and how you might adapt to create deeper engagement – and how to schedule those posts so that you’re not always glued to your Facebook page.
We’ll round out the hour with time for plenty of questions… so make sure to bring your questions!
Featured Presenter: We are excited to welcome back Amy Simons, Associate Professor, Convergence Journalism, University of Missouri School of Journalism. Ms. Simons presented at the 2016 Annual Conference in Jefferson City, MO.
