The 2018 Conference will be hosted by ACDN Member, Career Wardrobe, in Philadelphia, PA from October 18-20, 2018.

Invitation to the 2017 ACDN National Conference: People, Purpose, and Passion in Palm Springs
It’s always sunny in Palm Springs (at least, for about 350 days a year)!
Desert Best Friend’s Closet (DBFC) is thrilled to host this year’s ACDN Annual Conference. When DBFC began in 2008, we operated out of our homes, collecting clothing from friends to redistribute to agencies in need. We were excited to help people, yet had no personal interactions with those we were attempting to assist. We now provide individualized wardrobe and image assistance to clients, having helped nearly 5000 men and women since moving into our first service site in 2010. So many lives have been changed as a result of our programs. Our clients inspire us with their commitment to a better life for themselves and their families. We are committed to helping them reach their goal of self-sufficiency.
Joining the Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits (ACDN) helped grow DBFC from a $3200 annual budget to over $100,000. The camaraderie, shared passion, and purpose at the annual conference benefits small and large agencies alike.

Palm Springs, a city in the Sonoran Desert of southern California, is known for its hot springs, stylish hotels, golf courses and spas. It's also noted for its many fine examples of midcentury-modern architecture. Its core shopping district along Palm Canyon Drive (just a few blocks from our hotel) features vintage boutiques, interior design shops and restaurants.
The surrounding Coachella Valley offers hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. Expect daytime temperatures in mid-October to be warm (in the low 90’s) with the evenings cooling down to the high 60’s.
