Administrative Manager (Remote)

The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits (ACDN) is seeking a responsible Administrative Manager to provide a variety administrative and clerical tasks that support ACDN.  The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional who’s able to undertake a variety of support tasks and able to work diligently under pressure.  They will be skilled at working with a high degree of attention to detail and professional discretion.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing support to various standing committees which include Membership, Development and Communications. 

• Providing general administrative support.

• Receiving gifts, scheduling payments to vendors, members, submitting annual membership invoices and other transactions as appropriate.

• Coordinating with committees so goals and activities are managed in a timely manner.

• Creating and updating records ensuring accuracy and validity of the information and data.

• Assisting with planning, organizing and coordinating special events, e.g. Smart & Sexy Day, Annual Conference.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years’ experience in upper level nonprofit management and development with a track record of success. College degree or equivalent experience.

This is a remote position. Periodic travel is required including to board retreat and the national conference.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular). Strong knowledge of open source applications.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Thorough knowledge of grammar with strong proof reading and editing skills. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

Salary Range: $36,000 – $42,000 (Salary is commensurate upon experience) This is a part-time role. All work-related expenses will be reimbursed.
